Terms of Service

Welcome to The Selection Standard(the “Service”), operated by Prospect Connect Media LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Delaware limited liability company. The book is published under the pen name Theo Knight; Prospect Connect Media LLC is the operating entity.

By accessing the website, completing the Selection Diagnostic, or buying the book, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Selection Standard is intended for adults aged 18 and older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are not prohibited by law from using the Service
• All information you provide to us is accurate and complete

2. Order and Account

To buy the book, you provide an email address and complete payment through our processor (Stripe). After purchase, you receive a confirmation email with download links and access details.

If you create a customer account to manage your downloads, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Accept responsibility for activity under your account
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. The Product

Your purchase of The Selection Standard includes:

• The book. PDF and EPUB files of the manuscript, approximately 41,000 words across 30 chapters.
• The audiobook. Where purchased, MP3 files of all chapters plus a single combined file.
• Nine bonuses. PDF tools and references that accompany the book (SAI+ Scorecard, Either/Or Library, Call Framework, Red Flag Library, Midchalance Cheat Sheet, Profile Optimization Guide, Eternal Conversation Engine, After the Date, The Text Layer).
• Access to the SAI+ Custom GPT. A link to the Selection Attraction Index scoring tool, which runs on OpenAI's ChatGPT platform. Access requires your own ChatGPT Plus (or higher) subscription. The tool itself is free to use; we do not control or charge for it.
• Lifetime updates. If we revise the book or bonuses, you receive the updated files at no additional cost.

The Selection Diagnostic (Quiz)

The Selection Diagnostic is a free assessment that names a selection-pattern archetype based on your answers. It is offered for informational and marketing purposes. Results are generated from your inputs and a fixed scoring model; they do not constitute professional advice.

Educational Use Only

The book, the bonuses, the SAI+ tool, and the diagnostic are offered for educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, psychological, or therapeutic). You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the content.

4. Purchase and Payment

The Selection Standard is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring billing, and no automatic renewal.

• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card details.
• Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Currency conversion and any associated fees are handled by your bank.
• You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or other taxes payable in your jurisdiction.
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders already completed.
• If a payment fails, we may revoke access to digital files until payment is resolved.

5. Refunds (90-Day Guarantee)

We offer a 90-day money-back guarantee on the book and bonuses. If within 90 days of purchase you decide the system isn't for you, email us and we will refund your purchase. No interrogation. No exit survey.

To request a refund:

• Email theo@theselectionstandard.com with the subject line “Refund”
• Include the email address used at checkout so we can locate your order
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days

Once a refund is issued, access to the digital files is revoked. You agree to delete any copies of the book, audiobook, and bonuses you have downloaded.

We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of obvious abuse: multiple refund requests across separate accounts, evidence that files have been redistributed, or other indicators of bad-faith use.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use The Selection Standard only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Redistribute, resell, or publicly share the book, audiobook, or bonus materials in any form
• Upload any part of the product to torrent sites, file-sharing services, or AI training datasets
• Use any part of the product for commercial purposes, including coaching, training, or reselling, without our prior written consent
• Remove copyright notices, watermarks, or attribution from any file
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers without our written permission
• Share your account credentials or refund a purchase, then continue to use the files
• Upload malicious code or attempt to harm other users or our infrastructure

We may investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these provisions, including suspending accounts, revoking access, and reporting violations to law enforcement or platform partners.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property

All content in the book, audiobook, bonuses, and on this website, including text, design, branding, the SAI+ tool prompts, and the archetype framework, is owned by Prospect Connect Media LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. “The Selection Standard” and “SAI+” are our marks.

Your Licence

When you buy the book, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the digital files for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may:

• Download and store the files on devices you own
• Print the book and bonuses for personal use
• Quote brief excerpts in personal communications with attribution

You may not transfer, sublicense, or assign this licence. The licence terminates automatically if you refund your purchase or breach these Terms.

Pen Name Disclosure

The book is published under the pen name Theo Knight. The pen name is used to keep focus on the system rather than the author. The operating entity behind The Selection Standard is Prospect Connect Media LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of information as described there.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on and links to third-party services, including Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (email), and OpenAI's ChatGPT platform (for the SAI+ tool). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services. The SAI+ tool runs on ChatGPT; access requires your own active OpenAI account in good standing.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE, THE BOOK, THE BONUSES, AND THE SAI+ TOOL ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from reading the book, using the bonuses, or running the SAI+ tool. Selection, dating, and relationship outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROSPECT CONNECT MEDIA LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR PURCHASE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prospect Connect Media LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your redistribution of the book, audiobook, or bonus files

13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Informal Resolution First

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at theo@theselectionstandard.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will respond within 30 days and work in good faith to resolve the issue.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution does not succeed, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in Delaware, in English, and will be decided by a single arbitrator.

Class Action Waiver

You and Prospect Connect Media LLC agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.

Exception for Small Claims

Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for any dispute within that court's jurisdiction, instead of arbitration.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of your purchase by emailing theo@theselectionstandard.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and including your full name and the email address used at checkout.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email to the address associated with your purchase or via a prominent notice on the site. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service and request a refund within the 90-day window (if your purchase is within that window).

16. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Prospect Connect Media LLC regarding the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, labour disputes, or internet or infrastructure failures.
